What he meant to say is that he would send lots and lots of troops to follow Osama to the gates of hell and they would shoot him and then McCain would take all the credit for it since he would be the president at the time. Interesting that we find Sadaam, but I don't seem to recall the names of the soldiers who actually did the finding. hmmmm...
