In reality, Paul is more of a third party candidate, a Ross Perot redux. While I am not necessarily happy with the direction the Republican Party has taken over the last 10 years, I am far from ready to abandon it. I have an unbroken string of voting for Republican presidential candidates that is unbroken back to Gerald Ford in 1976. In 2008, just about any R will be preferable to any of the D's.

That being said, Ron Paul is the one "major" candidate whose (hypothetical) success would cause me to consider voting for a Democrat in the general election. I suspect a bunch of mainstream Republicans are just like me.

This is why we will need the support of the GOP when we win.

So Neo-cons go back to the party they originate from.

GOOD! GET OUT AND STAY THE HELL OUT!:( Don't hijack my party for your agenda any longer!

(No offense to democrats here. I bet the Neo-Libs must be just as frustrating.)

lol what a piece of garbage. Yeah, at least they'd be voting for the party that came from, originally. He must hate things like cutting size of government, low taxes, and personal liberties.. He needs to get knocked upside his head

More proof that these neo-cons are more like Democrats than true Republicans. A Republican voting for Hillary Clinton over Ron Paul was probably never an actual Republican. I thought Republicans despised the Clintons.

I smiled when I read that. I can't even imagine. The hard core neocon Republicans I know would never vote for Hillary for example. NEVER. I just don't think that many Republicans would jump ship to vote for Hillary over RP. Not in a million years. She is very much disliked, including in the state of NY.

Yes, anyone who reads this may start getting suspcious about the two party necon, neolib system, really being just one Neo party, if they arn't already.

Im with you 100% on this. Screw the neo-cons. I wouldnt want them supporting Ron Paul and trying to infiltrate his pure message, and "pretending" they support true liberty while the whole time doing everything they can from the inside to corrupt it.

Let them go back to where they came from.

If RP is elected there is no doubt that there will be a major party shift. I will be glad to see that type go to the democrats and welcome the democrats that join us.

Actually I just saw this lady on Fox News talking about how Neo-cons will vote for Hiliary because they agree with her on foreign policy

They already implicitly worship Truman and FDR, why not vote Democrat? It is the party of the welfare-warfare state.

I can't really see the difference between the Hillary-ites and the neocons. Same product, just different packaging.

Good riddance, neocon scum. If this happens when can start taking the Republican party back.......

The harder they hit, the bigger they must think you are.

I realized how sensitive Pauls supporters were, when I saw Chris Mathews after the last democrat Debate, just LAY HARD into Hillary non stop. He called himself her death squad for the evening.

Hannity hasn't been anywhere near as hard on Paul like Mathews was on Hillary.

Of course, where we see facts being reported wrong,we should move to get the corrected. When it comes to opinions, we do need to toughen up a lot more now. The hits will be getting harder as the months go on.

Not the neocons I know. They hate Hillary with a passion, and rightly so. They just won't admit at this time that they've been duped by Bush and Co. With RP against Hillary, they would vote RP. They wouldn't be caught dead voting for Hillary.
