I have created this thread for all of you who, like me, have a strong dislike for fads. Please expound on what I have said.

I know it's for a good cause, but I HATE, HATE, HATE the Livestrong wristband fad. Nowadays almost everyone has some type of rubber wristband (mine is Wriststrong). The original pissed me off the most, because it's just so smug to buy a bracelet for cancer research and show it off to everyone.

When those were first released I took an entire box from the XGames Livestrong booth and sold them on ebay for about $5 a piece.

Wow, gag me too, fer sure, like totally gnarly man...

or, how about, "government is good and provides us with..."

I wouldn't mind if Ron Paul became a fad, at least we could change a lot of things for awhile.

i think atheism is a fad. A few days without food and drink and you'll be prayin to the patron saint of whatever the hell for a fkin pack of crackers.

lol..ok, you pray-I'll get down to doing it myself and help ya out when I get around to it. ;):D

(edit-btw, I'm only criticizing foolish actions/inactions done in the name of religion-not spirituality...I consider myself spiritual rather than atheist/religious)

one of the funniest fads was high fructose corn syrup. It was supposed to make ever'body healthy and happy, but it added significantly to the obesity epidemic! LOL...o, the folly of foolish mortal men.
