I was watching the spin room after the debate waiting for Paul to be interviewed.

When his introduction came by Hannitty , he didn't use words like, longshot, maverick, dark horse, or fringe candidate this time. He said, " Congressman from Texas's 14th district and Presidential Hopeful, Ron Paul.

What a pleasant suprise. :)

It got better to me when Hannity said to him, " I'm angry with you about something you said." Then Paul replied something to the effect of, " Is this the first time you're angry with me about something I said? "

And they both started laughing together and then Paul kicked back into a more relaxed posture.

That was so cool to me.

I felt more at ease when Colmes said, " I'm with you on the war and Hannity is with you on economics."

That came across as some respectful support and consideration for Paul by the two of them.

Though there is much to bitch about regarding Fox's and Hannity's overall treatment of Paul, I saw a shift in that they seem to realize that Paul has become a serious contender in this race.

I LOVED IT everytime I heard a Fox anchor say, " This is a wide open field"

To me, it was like they were admitting that their favorites, may not turn out to be the voting publics favorites in the end. They softened on who is definitly in and out. Thats a GOOD thing!!!!!!!!Something seems to have loosened up.

I am the one giggling over how much I have seen candidates switch to referencing the Constitition more themselves. Romney was really working that word in the spin room.

They certainly will not steal Paul supporters by doing that, yet they are giving it's importance more weight which does give more weight to Pauls campaign which is based on a strict adherance to the Constitution. I love it!

The final note that has a smile on my face is watching Romneys popularity go down the toilet. Here is the guy who "won" Fox's last debate poll, and won the Iowa straw Poll by a huge margin and then, did something that clearly turned his fan base off and came in with a measly 8% after last nights debate. :D

There truly is Hope for America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL yeah, those 462 events he did in NH really paid off huh!

My favorite line from the Hannity-Paul exchange was after joking together about previous disagreements, Paul got in, "Ya know, you ought to be nice to your guests!".

That line was priceless, Hannity is a jerk to people he disagrees with. Interestingly he avoided the Iraq war issue with Paul and focused on Iran. Fox News is really pushing for a war with Iran, reminds me of when I read about Yellow Journalism in my grade school history books. War is good for journalists, especially sensationalist media like Fox News, which often employs deplorable tactics, but is generally very entertaining to watch. It's amazing how history repeats itself isn't it?
