I watched just about all of his videos, and I am leaning toward this being real.

It is real. I have 2.5gigs of NLP stuff. Look up Derren Brown, Richard Bandler, Edward Reese, Robert Cialdini, Steve Andreas, Charles Faulkner and Joseph O'Connor. Study Ericksonian hypnosis, too.
