So it seems to me like Ron Paul's big stance on healthcare is to scrap the insurance/HMO system as it is by clearing the way for real alternatives, and to allow people to claim their expenses against their tax debt (is this interp. correct?)
I think that's exactly the fix we need but....
the question (to those leaning socially liberal) then becomes... what difference will this make to those getting a full refund already?
what can be done legislatively to encourage competition in the health insurance/non-profit health provision institutions?
