A libertarian blogger rails against Paul and the campaign.

We need to combat this notion that Paul is actively and deliberately seeking the support and pushing the agenda of right-wing extremists and conspiracy theorists. The truth is, the campaign HAS distanced itself from the views of these groups by saying that if they want to give money to the campaign, it's their loss, and they're going to be disappointed in what they get.
As far as Ron going on the Alex Jones show... well, he was asked to do it. Shouldn't candidates do radio shows when they're asked?
I'm getting sick and tired of seeing this stuff from people. Firstly, there aren't enough neo-Nazis and 9/11 Truthers in the country to overcome all or any of the factions of neocon, centrist, and left-of-center voters and propel Ron to the Presidency (or even the Republican Nomination; not to mentio nthat there aren't anywhere CLOSE to enough), so it makes absolutely no sense to try to spin his campaign as following this strategy, if the campaign's goal is to win or if they have any other political motivation.
Secondly, I think it's pretty clear that Ron has been strictly adhering to a message of liberty and that he does seek out actively libertarians, conservatives, and liberals who are attracted to it. I find it very hard to believe that even a large minority of the people at his rallies or who are supporting him are neo-nazis or 9/11 truthers.
In any event... it may be time to ask the campaign officially to deal with this. We can't have libertarians leaving our fold because of a few idiots who are giving us a bad name without our sanctioning it.
