I just noticed google finance has a new feature, the google stock screener! If you go to finance.google.com and then look at the search bar you'll see a small link on the right to the stock screener.
This is useful because you can search out of types of stocks that are say within a range of dividends (if you'd like to follow Peter Schiff's advice on buying dividend stocks.)
While this is very useful I still think this is a better tool for making people aware of stocks. And then you should do your research on them to see how well they'd fit you.
Anyway, thought some people may like to know.
