Good idea with regards to moved voting location!

Someone should stand at the old location and hold up a sign that says something like: Ron Paul Supporters Inquire Here. Most likely, if people who intend to vote for Ron Paul show up, and are confused, they will not be embarrassed to walk up and ask questions (then they can be informed of the correct place to vote). Anyone voting for anyone else probably won't walk up to the RPers, and if they do, they can get educated on his message and maybe end up voting for him!

This is a FANTASTIC idea! Someone make this a *sticky* quick.

This is an excellent idea. Perhaps talk to the meetup groups and get some of their democrats that can't vote in this election to show up at the precincts.

Also this will be an excellent way to judge how many people were misguided.

can we man every caucus?

I think its doable. There are quite a few democrats who are Ron Paul supporters who can't vote in the primary for him. I'm sure they could easily cover all of them. IT would take less then 20 people to cover a city.

the only problem is if i read right, some caucus locations you have to be there at 8:30 and voting starts at 9am

will it be an issue that people have to drive around to different places, will they get to vote in time?

Thats why I suggest anyone who is a Ron Paul supporter that didn't switch to republican in time go to those locations. They can't vote for republicans anyway, so it wouldn't hurt.

Even if they only redirect 300 people. Thats could possibly be 1% of the vote. (assuming 30k voter turnout)

^^^^ VERY important. ^^^^

Be sure to have the absolute fastest route to the correct caucus location planned - have printed-out Google map/Mapquest routes ready for those who show up at the wrong location.

Great idea!

I think the same thing should be done for Romney supporters, except if they happen to be at the right location, send them to the other location.:rolleyes:

Wouldn't this idea remove a perfectly good voter from the caucus and have him standing out in the street somewhere? Caucuses are NOT like primary polls! YOU HAVE TO BE PRESENT DURING THEM! They are not all day long open polls. If you do this, get some 16 or 17 year olds to man the fake caucus sites. You can't risk losing votes for Paul! Hopefully anyone you redirect can make it on time, because I'm sure they'd have no problem telling a Paul supporter they were "too late" to participate.

Yea, they said already it needs to be someone who can't vote anyways.
Make sure this person keeps track of how many Paul supporters come to the wrong location by mistake! This data might be important to know. It would also be good if this person could text message to someone at the real caucus whenever he sends someone to the new place. Maybe there could be a chance that those at the caucus could find a way to stall, and get the late people in.

The major problem with this idea is that if someone is standing outside the wrong location to direct people to the right one, they themselves are not getting to participate in the caucus. Doesn't sound like a good idea to me in that sense.

Hence why TulsaRevolution said:
