These evil ones will never stop.

We here have an understanding that Empire is not conservative. Neither is spending and printing.

In case anyone doesn't already know, Newt Gingrich is scum!!

1) He divorced his first wife when she was suffering from cancer, and married Marianne. He cheated on Marianne with Callista and then married her.

2) He praised Franklin D. Roosevelt on his first day as Speaker of the House.

3) He pushed through GATT & WTO with the lame duck Congress, because he knew that the "Republican Revolution" Congress elected in the fall of '94 wouldn't pass them.

There's a 4th reason, but I can't think of it right now.

5) And the WORST thing that he did was campaign AGAINST Ron Paul in his '96 Congressional election. I'll NEVER forgive him for that.

The conservative movement has already died, all we have now is the Republican Party.

Newt Gingrich voted for the Fairness Doctrine. Is there anything else to say about him? I never knew this until Michael Savage said it on air among other things that are not Conservative about Gingrich. Just throw this in your neo-con friend or talk show hosts face and see what they have to say.

In 1987 a bill to place the Fairness Doctrine into federal law passed the House by 3 to 1, and the Senate by nearly 2 to 1, but it was vetoed by President Ronald Reagan. Among those voting for the bill were Rep. Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) and Sen. Jesse Helms (R-N.C.). In 1989 the Fairness Doctrine easily passed the House again, but didn't proceed further as President George Bush threatened to veto it. In 1991, hearings were again held on the doctrine, but President Bush's ongoing veto threat stymied passage.

Gingrich is indeed scum. He's a central figure in turning the GOP into the winner-take-all, no-holds barred monster of evil it is today. Rush Limbaugh and all the slander-vampires came up under his age of "contract with America". He's part of the problem, he'll never be part of the solution.

+1

Gingrich was called a liberal by Robert Reich on ABC's This Week yesterday morning. He is not an ally.

link? video?

Sorry; I don't have one. I wouldn't mention it if I didn't know if it's true; I remember it! I heard Gingrich praise Roosevelt when his speech was broadcast on talk radio. I was on Ron Paul's mailing list during his 1996 Congressional campaign, in which he detailed the GOP Establishment, Gingrich, and the Bush family opposing him and favoring his opponent. Lewrockwell.com posted a great article about it, but I can't find it.

I was able to see Newt Gingrich speak a few weeks ago, and I can't say that I was impressed. The President of Sierra Leone was more convincing when talking about low taxes and small government a few days ago than Gingrich, which is never a good thing.

I am a frequent caller of a radio open forum every morning in Brunswick Georgia. The host asked "who will lead the conservative movement?". The first three callers said Newt. I called and blasted those idiots.

"Global empire is not conservative, it is the furthest thing from our founding ideology."

Newt Gingrich is a fake conservative. He is wish washy on this socialistic takeover of the financial markets. If he had a conservative bone in his body, he would be repulsed by it on principle alone. Any figure that has been given a podium by the media in the last 10 years is somehow for this. They are all CFR shills.

Gingrich writes interesting alternative history books, and he should stay in that job. He's a horrid politician. We need to keep real conservatives who have nearly been pulled to the other side of the fence from buying back into this faker.

OF COURSE he is, and OF COURSE he's scum, but who cares at the moment if he's against the bailout. Let's use him the same way he uses people. We can worry about his ulterior motives later.

Using people? That is how politics works. Old Newt isn't going to get the chance to take over anything if this bill passes. It will be THE END, game over.
