Getting Paul/Ventura on the Ballot in Minnesota

I am interested in trying to get an effort off the ground for Ron Paul/Jesse Ventura (or Ron Paul/Barry Goldwater Jr.) to appear in MN. I would like to hear from Minnesotan Ron Paul supporters who are also interested. We only need 2,000 signatures in this state to put him on the ballot. Our best shot at collecting them by the September 9th deadline would be at the Rally for the Republic and other liberty-related events this weekend.

I am currently trying to figure out if we need ten electors on the nominating petitions as well. If so, we need to quickly identify ten electors who are MN Ron Paul supporters to get this process rolling.

Most of the Minnesotans who would vote for Ron Paul wouldn't vote for Jesse Ventura. Jesse was happy to increase government in many areas. He does have value of being a cog in the wheel. But he'd drag down someone like Ron Paul electorally.
