The extremists that have been the downfall of the Libertarian Party have done the same to the RP campaign.

What sucks is that extremists that are supporters of other candidates are never mentioned or even discussed. But nope, when a candidate like Paul comes around, any candidate who has a different opinion, no matter how sane or crazy, makes the candidate crazy too.
