On 2 June Trump's average lead was 0.6.

Four new post conviction polls have been posted.

His average lead now is 1.1 in a two man race.

His lead in a five person race is 2.3 up from 1.8 last week.

His "swing state" aggregate lead is 5.3

Not all "swing states" have posted post conviction polls yet, but NC has.

Trump shows the largest lead he has had so far in NC in polling ending 2 June, at 8 points.

The Ipsos poll is included in the RCP average.

The Echelon poll is not.

And the Morning Consult poll ending 2 June, has Trump up by 1 so there was a two point swing from 30 May to 2 June.

The most recent polling data ending 2 June, at RCP, has Trump up 1.1 as of Wed. 5 June 2024 at 0100 EDT

Trump is smacking Biden with the number of first-time donors, which I think is a more accurate indicator than seeking polls that support one's world-view.

Apparently being charged with felonies is not as unpopular with independents as some thought.

Because most people with any bit of common sense can see this was a sham trial. Others, lost in their delusion, continue to spew the MSM 24/7 propaganda.

I wouldn't go so far as to donate to his campaign, but I'm certainly leaning more and more to hoping that Trump wins. There are lots of policies we disagree on. I think he wants to control the power instead of reducing it. But I don't think the country can let the left get away with this. This is totally me right now...

I hate to say it...

I along with a lot of others agree with you it was a sham trial, but also understand that Trump did do what he was accused of. He was prosecuted and convicted for political reasons. He's still a convicted felon now. He also was prosecuted for political reasons in the unfair loans case. He was guilty of that too. Lots of other people did both of these things and got away with it. That doesn't mean Trump isn't guilty. When he put himself out there as a controversial public figure, he opened himself to these political prosecutions. FWIW I think the E Jean Caroll case is crap, I don't find her believable. Trump scewed himself on that one by not mounting an effective defense.

He did not do what he was accused of, his lawyers and accountants did things.
The things they did were not crimes.

You're lying and you know you're lying.

Agreed...I have no idea what will happen.

I'm just posting what RCP is showing,

Well, the voting rules still favor the cheating... As long as the polls say a Biden victory is plausible, that's all they'll need.

Drop boxes will still exist. "Early voting" for a month will still exist. Easy absentee ballots with lackluster verification will still exist. Censorship will still exist. And now political prosecutions exist, too. It's a lot to overcome.

Correct on all counts.

Whatever happens, it can not be trusted because of that.

So, now what do we do?

You still have a garbage economy and that wont be changing in fact that would make things worse for the Liberals.

Remember Build Back Better? no one is believing that nonsense anymore expect for the media.

Weird situation, ain't it?

Do nothing, and it sends the message that this is totally fine and acceptable: If you're worried that you'll lose an election, just prosecute your opponent. This could just become the new normal.

I think that's what doesn't sit well with these independent voters. And, I'm kinda relieved. It indicates that some folks out there, maybe, sort of, give a sh*t. Maybe it's a shame, to some folks, that Trump benefits from it, but, it is what it is.

Even the Biden campaign now realizes this is backfiring.
