Also consider that the November5th Money bomb website was created only about 15 days before the event. Compared to around 40 days for the teaparty bomb. KEEP TELLING PEOPLE!

Lets just hope these are mostly legit. I have a feeling the vast majority are. I think A LOT of people didn't donate on the 15th, but don't want to miss out on what is guaranteed to be a history making day. I have my fingers crossed for 10+ million, but I wouldn't be disappointed with 5-6 mil. That's still a lot of money.

But yes, aim high! :D

I believe we can hit 10 million, but frankly that graph proves nothing.

It proves that the growth of support for the event is far superior to the nov 5 money bomb and with over a month to go and several people (including me) working on promoting it, we are going to CRUSH the 5th

Combine that with the other thread where more people who DIDN'T contribute on the 5th and plan on doing so on the 16th outnumber (by far) those who contributed on the 5th and don't plan on doing so on the 16th, combined with fresh donors, etc...
etc...
etc...
etc...
This is going to be kick ass and then some!

The Ron Paul campaign is growing. We need to keep spreading the word about the Tea Party so every new Ron Paul supporter will know about it!

Well the support isn't double in correlation to time, but that pace needs to keep up. That is something that I doubt will happen. Just looke at how donations have dwindled down very badly since the 5th.

I am optimistic, but I have seen FAR LESS promotion of this item that the november 5th item. I was seeing that all over.... not much with this one..

were the nov5th people notified of the dec. 16th item?

Also, I am for sure thinking that those numbers are being padded to take wind away from our sale.

Wait to the USA Today ad comes out and is shown and discussed all over Thanksgiving weekend.:D

....copy,paste,linked to teaparty07.com , either one

I only knew about the November 5th money bomb for about 2 days before the actual event, and I didn't even bother looking to see if I could afford to chalk up my modest little $50. With so many more weeks to prepare, and so much more incentive, I'm planning on donating more on the 16th. I doubt I'm the only one who feels very encouraged to break the bank.

Also, I am for sure thinking that those numbers are being padded to take wind away from our sale.

Possibly, but not many in the media reported the number of pledges. It was all about actual donors, so that would be a strange and probably ineffective strategy for any of our opponents to coordinate on a large scale.

And I've noticed that the Tea Party site has far viewer page views so far. I think This Nov. 5th had ten times the number of views as it had pledges, but this one only has 3-4 times as many. Not sure what that means.

True but what is even more important is recruiting NEW supporters. All existing supporters already know about the Tea Party. We need to get a bunch of first-time contributors.

Which is why I'm trying to advertise on sites where we can get new supporters - like offtopic.com
