Fastest Gunman Ever

.
"In 1981, the year most shooting records disappeared from the Guinness Book, I called David Boehm of the Sterling Publishing Company and asked why. He told me that there is a committee that approves books to be used in school libraries across the nation. The committee informed Mr. Boehm that it would only approve the Guinness Book for continued use as a reference book in school libraries if gun records were removed. To protect the Guinness Book from a black list, that's what the publishing company felt it had to do. If you look at recent editions of the Guinness Book of World Records, you will notice that most gun records by shooters using real firearms (not gimmicked with things like light-weight aluminum barrels,) are no longer listed, including those set by the famous Annie Oakley, Ed McGivern, Tom Frye and myself. It is a shame that a small group of people on that education committee, people who probably grew up in cities away from the shooting sports millions of Americans and citizens of many other nations appreciate and enjoy, can have the power to effectively erase history."

Gunniness like the media....simply pick what they want to show. and telling you that is equal (well its not.....because they are not covering everything equally)

Yet another liberal example showing that not choosing to support a right...is being equal under that right. The problem is that they are erasing expression in doing this. So instead of more expression you get court-ordered less.

No religious expression is religious expression
No keeping of arms is 2nd A expression/protection.

welcome to the baby boomers!!!
welcome to socialism!!!

So Library committees are banning books?

Bob Munden seems to toot his own horn a little at the beginning of the video, but I'm not going to be the one to tell him not to!

I have met Jerry, he is a cool man..and anyone that can shoot six rounds out of a revolver, reload, and shoot six more rounds in less than three seconds has a reason to be a dick, and he isn't.

He has tons of videos of him shooting 6 rounds from a single shot revolver in one second... how cool is that?

Ever watched Jerry Miculek?

Here he is with a revolver:

http://www.guba.com/watch/3000056668

8 rounds in one second, 8 rounds in 4 target in 1.8, six shots, reload, and six shots in 2.99 seconds...

I'm a revolver fan. That's why I've never really posted in the auto debates here.

As much as I have shot my revolvers and practiced speed loading, I thought I was pretty good:rolleyes: This guy:eek:, damn....I need practice more often.:o

And, he's from Louisiana. :)

LOL... my uncle, who is a gunsmith, a gun instructor, a policeman (at apd- torchbearer may have met him before)), and also a competition shooter with my aunt, has shot with him many times..this is how I have met him.. he is cool as all get out, and though we haven't talked MUCH politics, he strikes me as slightly libertarian.

Not Jerry

I wasn't talking about Jerry. I was talking about the guy in the original post.

If someone is so damn fast, wouldn't it be MUCH cooler to be modest and downplay it and then let your actions speak? Just my personal taste I guess.

The other guy is from Louisiana, too? Cause he quoted me saying that Jerry was from Louisiana when he responded.

This is the xact post that started our conversation about Jerry:
