I've subscribed to the e-mail updates from candidates all running for president (I feel like I'm spying on the enemy), and I got one from Duncan Hunter saying he was going to land in an airport in Detroit, and inviting his supporters to come greet him.
Too bad I didn't think of it soon, but what if a bunch of R.P. supporters came to greet him as well? If we can reach the die-hard supporters of the candidates (like the ones who would show up at an airport), we can erode the base of support for the candidates from the bottom up.
Most campaigns are about top-down control, so if you take away the base, they crumble. Just an idea.
