Forgive me if this thread has already been started...

Beyond musicians I was wondering what the entertainment line-up would be for the Rally Portion of the March.

Suggestions:

Do a countdown of the top 10 Ron Paul YouTube music videos.

Have a segment of the rally where the most outstanding Ron Paul / Freedom Movement grassroots activists are recognized. Perhaps people could submit short 1:00 minute promo videos highlighting their achievments and then have the individuals come up on stage to be recognized.

Have a YouTube video that shows clips/pictures of the thousands of Meetup Groups from all around the country/world.

They (Official Campaign) had a really good video prior to Dr. Paul speaking in Minnesota awhile back, maybe they could show that. I personally want a juggler...

hmmmm

We could pass out copies of the Constitution and actually set a world record for the largest public reading of the Constitution in history. Think Guiness would be interested?

video screens

Wow. I am glad people actually like the idea.

If there is going to be a video screen than maybe someone could just put it on the video screen. I know that would be a lot more cost effective than printing out thousands of copies. How cool would it be if we could get Ron Paul to lead us in the schooling of his colleagues on the hill through a mass reading of the Constitution. Not only that but I smell youtube gold with this lol.

Is there a "working itinerary" for the rally posted somewhere yet?

Not sure if there's a "working itinerary," yet, but the idea of reading the Constitution en masse is an awesome one!

Yes - I agree.

We need to keep the brainstorming going. We can have the most creative and groundbreaking event in history.

Does anyone know how long we are permitted to rally. Will it go all day - after dark on Saturday, July 12th?

I think reading the Preamble is an awesome idea! It can be done while we assemble for the march. Or, after the march and at the beginning of the rally. I hope people bring posters of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence to hold on the march route.

It'll end around 5:00 so that we have time to tear down. The event schedule will be realeased this week.

Thanks Deborah for all you are doing!

Having hundreds of Constitution Signs throughtout the crowds/March would be excellent. Since many will be flying into DC - maybe it would be worth having hundreds made ahead of time and then sold at the March.

Thanks JS4Pat. Actually, we can't sell anything at the march. :( Permit regulations. BUT!! It's common practice for people to ship stuff to their hotels. You just have to make arrangements in advance for someone at the hotel to store it for you.

How's the event schedule looking?

Is there any copyright issue with playing Ron Paul YouTube Videos on the big screen at the rally?

If not, here are some of my recommendations to rally the crowds...

All great, The Crazy Ones especially so...

I wonder if the "campaigning" restrictions will prevent many videos from being shown without a little editing out of the "offical" links/etc?

Recognizing the people that made the movement happen?? That is a proposterous idea... I like it HAHA.
