Drugs - Street Terms

Care bears Methylenedioxymethampehtamine (MDMA)
Casper the ghost Crack Cocaine

:eek:

Edit:

I'll check that out... the ALi G thing :)

Angie = Cocaine

:confused:
Does this include the (lame) old Rolling Stones song; "Angie" is about Coke?

Iboga= MDMA

Iboga, http://www.erowid.org/plants/iboga/iboga.shtml is a plant that has been used in the treatment of heroin addiction..

MAO= MDMA

MAO (Monoamine oxidase), is a term used for anti depressants that restore imbalace of chemicals in the brain.

Candy flipping on a string= Combining or sequencing LSD with MDMA; mixing LSD, MDMA, and cocaine..

Thats pretty much impossible, because you can't take 2 dopamine/seritonin inablers without cancelling out the other...

This reminds me of the DARE booklet my son came home with in 3rd grade that had a long list of common household chemicals which could be used as inhalants. :rolleyes:

A new study appearing in the May issue of Addictive Behaviors finds that 18- to 19-year-old college students who view the White House’s anti-marijuana TV ads develop more positive attitudes towards marijuana than those who do not view the ads. The researchers warn that, “exposure to anti-marijuana advertising might not only change young viewer’s attitudes to more positive toward the substance, but also might directly increase risk of using marijuana.”

Government action resulting in unintended consequences? Who would've thought!

i remember my state sponsored "drug education"...in the 7th grade...

The booklet was really disturbing. It showed pictures of cigarettes, alcohol, marijuana, pills and crack all together as "deadly" substances. I brought the booklet into school and told the principal that 4 out of 5 of those things are deadly, but if my kid ingested marijuana it wouldn't kill him like eating crack or pills probably would. and the message is rendered ineffective when Johnny sees mommy and daddy drinking beer and smoking cigarettes and functioning in society.

The whole idea of public education about drugs really bothers me. That's my job as a mom. I don't do drugs but I don't think you can lump crack, meth, pot, tobacco and alcohol all together in the same category.

i rememberz D.A.R.E.!

They let us go inside the cop car and stuff. Fun times, back in 5th grade. We even had to write a page-long pledge to never abuse drugs or alcohol, and I read mine to a big assembly of parents!

Is it paid for by taxes? If so, then... oops :o

now days in dare class they burn a rope that smells like pot, and ask if the kids have smelled that before, they also ask if the kids have ever seen little piles of white stuff on mirrors around the house or cut up straws

You're kidding me? :eek:

And that D.A.R.E shit.... slotted in my mind, the question at least - ever so briefly... but you imagined yourself "daring"...

I have no doubt introducing kids to sex education real young and drugs, makes them more likely to do it.
