My husband introduced me to Ron Paul and his message early in 2007. I didn't really get on board until April or May after a debate.
One thing I like *most* about him is something that I think others see as a weakness, and maybe for good reason.
But anyway: I watched him on Leno last night, and was thinking about the ABC debates. Dr Paul is very polite and good-natured, and good-humored. He comes across as *very* geniuine and *very* sincere. As a politician, that is SO hard to do! (especially since most are LIARS!) Dr Paul is a 'normal guy' in extraordinary circumstances and that is very appealing to me. He doesn't come across as a greasy used car salesman like Romney, a tired old wrinkly grump like Thompson, an arrogant a$$ like Guiliani- you get where I am going with this. He looks like a nice guy you would want to have a conversation with. The others kind of scare me. They have this attitude and this disregard for others that makes me wonder why in the heck they want to be President?
Thank you, Dr Paul, for being yourself in every situation and allowing me to actually trust someone running for office!
