Don't give up. I know it's tough to care when no one else does.

I am the only apparently active Ron Paul supporter in my precinct. While I saw a car or two with Ron Paul sticker, I've never met them and I've never seen them in any of my meetups.

I knocked on as many doors as I could, bein all alone. I've made some calls and will continue to make some this weekend, searching for delegates.

It is tough. Sometimes I do wonder why bother. The campaign itself doesn't have its shit together. They declined Howard Stern's invitation, because he is too "out there", but sent Ron Paul to Alex Jones show. Talk about people with heads up their ass. I've compared Hillary Clinton's and Barack Obama and even John McCain's campaign to our and there is not comparison. They are machines with professional paid people. We, on the other hand, are amateurs. Most of us don't quite undestand what we're doing simply because we've never done this before.

But then I understand that I need to do this. I don't do this for some one's seal of approval. I don't do this so grandpa Ron can pat me on the head and say good job. I do this because I give a shit. Way too much may be, but still so. I don't want to be a civilian, I want to be a citizen. I want Ron Paul to win for me, not for the "Party".

Whoever you are reading this, I know you're pissed. The campaign's head is up their ass. They don't care one way or another and are not staffed with dedicated learnt professionals who do this for a living, unlike Hillary or McCain. I know that you're sick of people laughing and whining about him not standing a chance and McCain getting the nomination. It gets to you I know.

I am like you. I wanna throw my hands up and say fuck it, this is Ross Perot 2.0. He got all the people hopeful and then pulled a stunt and undid all the grassroots' hard work by quitting. Then he re-entered. Ron Paul's campaign is doing the same to us. I blame the campaign and I blame Ron Paul. He is not being serious about this win. Why should we be?

We should be serious because we can do this. Guys, don't you understand, this is doable. We depend on us and us alone and yes, while the official campaign screwed us thousand times over, we can be the delegates and get ROn Paul to win this.

FOR US!!!!

You have to believe in this because we will win or lose because of our effort and our effort alone. You are quitting at the worst time to do so. You are quitting just when Ron Paul needs every single one of us to give this one little extra push. Don't give up man. I know it's hard and you have every single reason to, but please do not. :o

Don't you want Ron Paul to win?
Don't you want more money for you, more rights for you, more honest people representing you?

The delegates in several states have already overturned many corrupt oppressive things that the GOP is notorious for. We are taking over, because we are full of people who are enthused and didn't give up. This is not an empty rah-rah-rah go-get'm-tiger speech. Washington state has overhauled their GOP platform. So has Arkansas. We are getting stuff done.

Do not give up. We are winning this. We seriously all kidding aside are.

Good post Akus.

I agree with everything that you said except the part about Ron Paul quitting (I don't think that he did - I think that he really needs to concentrate on his congressional seat in Texas).

I was wondering what state you're campaigning for Dr. Paul in? I'm in Pennsylvania.

Thank you for the uplifting post.

He ain't ever quit on Freedom. And he's not about to start.
JUST THE BEGINNING BABY :D

These days I am keeping my head up knowing that we are getting people into Congress. We will make a difference. I especialy hope we can take over the Secretary of State positions as I see that as being a huge step toward getting clean elections.

Good post, apart from the thing on him quitting.

He has not quit, he has just trimmed off the fat in his camp, and is still active. He is still doing speeches around the US gathering thousands upon thousands of people (Austin Texas, for example), and from new information- will also be at an upcoming debate including Huckabee and McCain.

I believe they are using their money very wisely - and much has been accomplished in the past year. He has won virtually all debates, and he has continued to fight against the status quo despite death threats and the MSM constantly telling him and his supporters that it is "impossible to win".

This is a bureacratic GIANT we (and by we I mean Ron Paul, his camp, and the grassroots) are fighting against. The fact that many other candidates (8) have dropped out mostly due to them seeing their inevitable doom and inverted wallets while Ron Paul, considering his challenge of the status quo and bureacrats is amazing.

The strategy was NEVER for the popular vote. It was for the delegates. Circumstances could be better (if Romney had stayed in), but they are not and we have to work with what we have - considering these, I still think we're doing well.

The MSM says our delegate count is 14 or so. Camp HQ has a belief that it can be UP TO 175 delegates at this time. The MSM has deflated beliefs in our delegates and VASTLY inflated McCains. Romneys are still in the air.

great post man, were trying our best up here in hays county, we can do this!!
