it appears Donald Trump and his eldest daughter Ivanka had earlier donated to Harris in her campaigns for California district attorney and attorney general from 2011 until 2014.

Both financially contributed to Harris as private citizens, according to California state records, with the donations amounting to a total of $8,000 - a fact that was eagerly picked up on by netizens.

The first contribution from Donald Trump was for $5,000 in September 2011 and the second amounted to $1,000 and was dated February 2013. Ivanka, a business executive at the time, donated $2,000 to Harris in June 2014.

Why is anybody shocked by that? He once donated to Hillary Clinton too.

Trump plays the field. I am neither excusing, praising, nor lambasting him. I am just stating a fact. New Yorkers are used to paying off the mob, whether the legit or illegit mob.

I'm curious. How many major republican candidates did Donald Trump donate to prior to becoming one? Any idea? I'm willing to bet the number is zero. Prove me wrong.

I have no idea, but I am guessing if it helped his business, he would buy off- er, I mean, donate.

Was Trump in the private prison business? Because that's the only benefit to an AG candidate. Trump was a progressive. Trump IS a progressive. There is more evidence to support that contention than there is to go against it. Trump pushed the whole "Build ma wall" narrative because he did the market research to show that's what would sucker endear himself to republican voters. Seriously, one reason I might vote for Trump is that his record on criminal justice reform is more progressive than that of Biden or Harris. (Hate me for that later). This whole political system is a joke! Just say the right thing, join the right party, and the average vote forgets who you really are and ignores and/or excuses all facts that might show them who you really are.

I have read he is really going after human trafficking and pedophiles.

It says there 'sputnik' , could be Russian attack on MAGA's conservative credentials. Will wait till this can be confirmed by more reliable US MSM sources like CNN, NYT.

That said, I completely support everyones right to identify as they choose.

It's actually very simple. Instead of running as a Democrat, he is running GOP, so he must attack the Democrats. Some of his kids didn't get the memo though.

Are you try to argue or educate me? Because I believe that my posts above we're as equally cynical about the politics as your post, just less wordy.

HIGHLIGHTS

From 1989 to 2015, Donald Trump has made $1,845,290 worth of political donations. Republicans received $1,150,540, and Democrats received $694,750.
Before 2011, Trump donated more money to Democrats than Republicans.
Between 2011 and 2015, Trump contributed $8,500 to Democrats and $630,150 to Republicans.

On 11 August 2020, only 3 months before the presidential elections, Joe Biden finally announces his running mate – Kamala Harris – in the dementia election.
At the time of the November elections Donald Trump is 74 and Joe Biden is even older with 77…

It must have been quite a challenge for the Democrook-Republicons to find somebody in the USA more despised than Donald Trump, Mike Pence and Joe Biden.

Lawyer Kamala Harris is of mixed Indian-black race, married to a Jew, and has been supported by the Trumpies (Donald and his Jewish daughter Ivanka) that donated thousands to her in 2011, 2013 and 2014: https://nymag.com/intelligencer/202...ump-once-made-donations-to-kamala-harris.html

Nothing new there.

I intend to support Trump because he has directly affected, in a positive way, my ability to work, make a living, keep my car, my guns, my woodstove, my income, my light bulbs...among other things.

Biden/Harris are openly hostile to all of these things and have openly called for banning or restricting all of them.

Sorry. I'll make it short. I can think of little business benefit to paying off an AG unless you're looking to do something illegal or into private prisons.

Thanks for pointing that out! Hmmm......the Trump presidential timeline shows that in 2011 a poll showed Trump would be the preferred Republican candidate for president.

The people called...the orange man answered. The first part of tha answer was to change who he was donating to. And RJB, this is just what I expected. Money wasn't spread around evenly. It was strategecially used to tell a new story. In American anyone can "re-invent himself" if he has enough money and/or enough connections.

He banned him from his clubs.

No evidence of that. He kicked Epbstein out of one of his clubs ONCE and that is because Ebpstein was hitting on the teenage daughter of one of Trump's friends. After that Trump said Epbstein was a "great guy" who "likes them young." Trump is on the Epbstein flight logs though there is no evidence he actually went to orgy island.

For the first time ever I'm leaning Trump. This Kamala Harris pick has pissed me off that much. I'll still most likely vote third party. Trump has a lock on my state anyway and I like being able to honestly "thumb my nose" at the people who vote for the major party candidates. (I know you live in a swing state so....not you. If I lived where you lived.....well I'm glad I don't live where you live.)
