I've been giving out signs, window clings, and DVDs. When anyone asks what they owe me I tell them to go onto the official web site and donate. 3 people have gotten back to me and said that they are going to donate on the fifth.

what do we need to have ready?

I will be contributing for the first time. I wonder though, since I've seen comments they need to confirm US citizenship --- how the hell can they do that over the phone, or via internet donation? What information / identification do I need to have ready to donate? CAN we donate via internet (or only phone)? Please, someone tell all us new contributors what information we must have ready when we call or log-in to contribute!

Basically you read the blurb of requirements, and check the box if you're applicable to donate, that's all you have to do. After you donate they may check your name/address or something, not sure, but that doesn't really concern you, so don't worry about it.

You can donate via the internet and you just check off the boxes claiming that you meet the requirements. See the post just above mine.

The results of this poll are quite encouraging!

So far we have 55 new donors compared to 49 votes.... assuming the expansion isn't quite as strong away from the hardcore supporters here, we've still established that the donor base is being expanded a fair amount.
