If by their logic that Euporean Settlers from Britain should had never came to Americas in the first place someone else would take place and that would be either Russia or Chinese.
The former flag of Alaska.
By American Leftists logic.
If British settlers and Spanish colonization of the Americas never happened someone or group of others would have taken the Americas after 200 years or so.
Because in the universe nothings stays neutral.
In our current timeline.
If American colonies never happened the Russians would had being freely to expand their territories without any competition or demands to stop. The importance of Christopher Columbus shouldn't be if he was a bad man for killing the natives but rather he gave the Europeans proof that the existence that the world is not flat and the Americas exists. If for 200 years later Europeans still didn't go to explore the new world or Americas.
Someone else would whatever the Russians or some in Asia it doesn't matter. But what is true if Euporean settlers never came to America. Russians would had being free to expand into America. The America of today would have looked completely different if Euporean settlers had never came to America.
Liberal teachers in America seem to be missing that point when they are teaching about Christopher Columbus to kids.
The earliest written accounts indicate that the first Europeans to reach Alaska came from Russia. In 1648 Semyon Dezhnev sailed from the mouth of the Kolyma River through the Arctic Ocean and around the eastern tip of Asia to the Anadyr River. One legend holds that some of his boats were carried off course and reached Alaska. However, no evidence of settlement survives. Dezhnev's discovery was never forwarded to the central government, leaving open the question of whether or not Siberia was connected to North America.

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state

By the middle of the 19th century, profits from Russia's American colonies were in steep decline. Competition with the British Hudson's Bay Company had brought the sea otter to near extinction, while the population of bears, wolves, and foxes on land was also nearing depletion. Faced with the reality of periodic Native American revolts, the political ramifications of the Crimean War, and unable to fully colonize the Americas to their satisfaction, the Russians concluded that their American colonies were too expensive to retain. Eager to release themselves of the burden, the Russians sold Fort Ross in 1842, and in 1867, after less than a month of negotiations, the United States accepted Emperor Alexander II's offer to sell Alaska. The purchase of Alaska for $7.2 million ended Imperial Russia's colonial presence in the Americas.
