DIGG - Article about McCain Lets end his race now!

bump

Just out of curiosity, what's the information source on news like this?
Who is the journalist, the blogger?

One thing they fail to mention in the article is that being part of the matching funds put McCain on the ballot in Ohio. If he wants to withdraw then he would have had to get the necessary signatures to get on the ballot in Ohio. Could it be he would lose his delegates from Ohio?

yes/maybe

Comments to the article describe how McCain gained ballot access because of matching funds. If he bows out of matching funds (let's say the FEC lets him), does this make those states void? Additionally, another commented that Kentucky's requirement was that McCain be on the ballot in 20 states and that he cited Delaware as one of the states; he used matching funds to gain access to Delaware. Dominos anyone?

The more important question is did McCain break the spending cap?

If he didn't, then I'd imagine he'd just stay in the program since he can just ride the free airtime from MSM to the convention?

If he did break, then yes, he is truly damned if he do, or damned if he doesn't.

Should he... yes?
Will he, Probably not.
McCain now how Pres Bush at his disposal
There may just be a war

How much has McCain spent so far?

Nobody Really knows, last I checked he could spend about 4 million more, but just about all of that is going to go to administrative expenses... He will not be able to mount a national campaign... at least for a while.

DIGG IS DOING GREAT
