Don't mean to hijack the thread, but how'd your speech go Glen?

There were more delegate slots than people who wanted to be delegates, so the speech was not needed and will be saved for the county convention coming up in a week and a half. However, the precinct meeting went REALLY well, and I wound up having a heated debate with the guy running for US House from my district. I wound up being able to cover many of my points later, when the precinct chair gave me the last word.

But the end result is that I am a delegate to the county convention coming up, and your advice on adding the bit about over-taxation was VERY appropriate, considering the tenor of the precinct convention, and specifically the business climate in my county.

I'm so glad you contacted me, Glen! I want to see what we can get going to get as many papers out in the state of NC as possible. I have a person in NC working with her group but the more people we have putting the word out, the better.

Great! I'll be e-mailing you momentarily. If someone on this thread knows how to start a chipin, PM me with the details of what I need to know/do. In Alabama, we managed to distribute some 15,000 of these in a matter of 3 days. With all the time we have left in NC, I'd like to aim for 20k to 25k. As soon as I know how and have the prerequisites set up, I'll be setting up a chipin and asking RPF to put it up.

Well, I'll stick with safety to deal with what I know beyond the shadow of a doubt I can deliver effectively -- 20k if I see them by April 15th. We need to get the other group moving on an answer though -- the first week of May is coming on quickly! The more time we have to fold this into a COORDINATED campaign, the better results we will have from it.


Edit: PS - if we don't make enough off the chipin to deliver this quantity, then whatever quantity we get I will get into the hands of people.
