Does anybody know if Kucinich voted to impeach Clinton? Was he in congress then?

Interesting question, I just looked it up. From what I can tell, Kucinich didn't vote for the impeachment, but did vote to authorize the Committee on the Judiciary to determine whether or not Clinton should be impeached.

So his intentions do honestly rest with the Constitution. ;) If we could only get those in the Judiciary Committee to do the same.

The Clinton impeachment thing was a joke, IMHO. I don't even like Billy Clinton, but that was the partisan political frameup of the decade.

yes, maybe so, but wasn't the charges purgery and obstruction of justice = breaking the law,,,couldn't we be charged and convicted of the same if we did so?

You're right. He should have been tried for Treason, Obstruction of Justice, and Perjury of Oath.

Clinton starting the bombing war of Iraq the day of the house impeachment vote was enough to impeach him. How so many people can forget that. It was for the pure reason to save his politcal a** that he ordered the military to start blowing Iraqis to bits. Or how about sending the military in to blow up Sudanese and afgani the day before he was finially forced to testify about Monica?
Kucinich was being partisan when he voted against impeachment. There was such a pattern of corruption with the Clintons there should have been no question about impeachment. Remember also Kucinich voted for the Clinton supported Iraqi Liberation Act which was the act that made it the official US policy to change the regime in Iraq. When things didn't go so well with that policy Kucinich wants to back out of his vote.

BTW - Ron Paul voted YES on all four.

Hmm.

I wonder how Ron Paul would vote on Kucinich's articles?

(got it. He voted for it, ok.)
He voted for the motion to refer...
Jesus, I almost thought that Bush had gotten impeached.
I'll be shocked if it happens.

The "STRONGEST" Impeachment item ( charge ) against Bubba, was discarded, by the Senate, BEFORE the trial. The FIX was in, before it even started.

It was the same one that he paid the court's ordered $800,000 fine and lost his law license on, in a subsequent Arkansas court GUILTY ruling.
