December 16th: San Francisco Tea Party

4. We are planning a big party for the Tea Party, Dec. 16th. One of the organizers for the Tea Party is working on this and we can use suggestions and help. The idea from the meetup is a big party at Chrissy Field/Marina Green. Contact Steve to help on this.

It appears the SF Meetup is setting up a gathering on the 15th. Not sure if anything will be happening on the 16th....

Meetups from all over the bay area have been invited and I think many people members and non-members will show up to march and participate. I think there will be at least a small amount of media coverage.

Any chance of throwing "crates of tea" off of the Balclutha? Perhaps a few words could be said about each "crate" (i.e. Patriot Act, Wars, etc.) by someone with a megaphone to the crowd gathered along the beach to observe. This might garner more media attention.
