I think this guy is conflicted. On the one hand, he says he supports the LP. On the other hand, he says that the LP being successful would be a bad thing. That's screwy logic. If you think the LP being successful is bad, then don't support the LP. Support the CFL or some kind of independent libertarian research institute.
