Anybody else surprised at how much & how fast Trump administration is actually doing it?

I'm sure glad to see USAID go, because stuff is coming out that makes the Red Pill more potent. I'm not fooling myself into thinking this agency was made a scapegoat before three new replacements were created to carry on what it does. The CIA is a giant Whack-A-Mole machine.

I love watching the heads of Biden loyalists roll. But are their seats being thrown out with them? Or are those seats being filled with Trump loyalists while they're still warm? One of these things is a cut, the other is just a changing of the guard.

Which other agencies besides USAID are getting the axe? I, for one, am still waiting for an answer to that question.

I'd be happier with legislation and not executive orders that are Constitutionally questionable and can be undone by the next President, but yeah, pleasantly surprised so far.

Are you allowing yourself to enjoy this at all? Its ok to admit you were wrong, no shame in that. If this was a Ron Paul administration doing this, we would be partying 24/7.

Pre-celebrating Trump's achievements worked great last time, why not do it again?

I think Executive Orders serve a function. Some make changes until another president, some get challenged by judges and smacked down. I think in this era any EO that get smacked down would be recognized as something on the agenda and might be considered for Congress. In some cases a smackdown of the EO might end up being more productive with Congress to cement it into law.

It's way too early for celebrating. The debt clock is at 36.2 trillion. Let's see where it is in a year.

Not for me. I am celebrating every single day. Every hour that goes by and more corruption is exposed, more people are learning that our federal government is a GIANT money laundering operation.

DC = scam

Momentum is being built to possible eliminate the income tax. The whole fraudulent system is being laid wide open. The sausage is getting views and it isn't pretty. The Democrat party is extremely unpopular and their screeching for BIG GOVT is being rejected. Everything is up for the chopping block.

I am enjoying every moment and celebrating the process as it develops day by day.

There is value in going through these motions, even if they do not come directly to immediate fruition.

The idea and prospect of doing things come before the doing of them.

If they are ever to happen at all, then the idea and prospect of doing them are going to need greater social visibility, currency, and validation.

Seeds are being planted - whether Trump (or his successor) is able (or even willing) to follow through or not.

And even the failure of those seeds to grow and bear fruit may produce further reaction.

Significant changes happen slowly - right up until they happen suddenly.

The Trump administration’s leadership at the General Services Administration is looking to cut the agency’s total budget in half, and looking to reduce staffing to reach that goal.

GSA leaders have notified staff they are expected to reduce total spending across all programs and personnel by 50%. Plans to meet that goal are due to GSA’s acting administrator no later than Friday.
GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service told staff in a town hall meeting on Jan. 31 that senior leadership is developing a plan to cut GSA’s spending by 50%. Potential areas for cuts include personnel, payroll and contracts.

GSA leadership didn’t offer a timeline for implementing the cuts, but employees were told that a nonvoluntary Reduction in Force (RIF) is expected “shortly” after Feb. 6. That’s the deadline for federal employees to accept the Office of Personnel Management’s “deferred resignation offer.”

The problem I see is that Trump is very likely to wipe out any savings by undertaking any number of things he's talked about doing. The Iron Dome. The Gaza Strip. The Panama Canal. Greenland.

At this point I'd say there's more than a 50-50 chance that we're going to have high to hyperinflation and a major economic collapse under Trump's watch, especially if he doesn't cut spending OVERALL. If that happens people that were celebrating will lose all credibility.

Well I will celebrate what is happening, while you are fretting about something that might happen.

We actually have the federal government being laid wide open and their money laundering schemes are exposed for all to see... and you see problems.

This isn't just a glass half full, this is you complaining that the glass is only 3/4 full.

The Trump administration has directed federal agencies to fire most trial period and probationary staff within two days. This decision targets many of the roughly 200,000 people hired by the federal government within the last two years.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has advised agencies to dismiss employees who are still within their probationary period, typically one or two years. This directive affects 200,000 probationary employees. Additionally, about 75,000 federal employees have accepted buyouts. In total, 275,000 federal employees are impacted by these measures.
