Could I be arrested for this?

I'm wondering what some of the legal risks are regarding exposing the insolvent Fed/fractional reserve banking system are.

Are there any laws that can get me arrested if I were to incite a bank run on a particular bank, for instance?

Far as I can tell, not technically. But what do I know. On the other hand I think they will probably make it hell for anyone who "incites" ___________ (fill in your preferred incitement).

Not that I actually think I could incite a real run on the bank, but I'm just wondering if I were to post signs, distribute literature, or publish letters to the editor, or anything that stated in any way that a particular bank is insolvent, is there some law that could be used against me for "attempting" to incite a bank run?

Ahhh, yeah, I forgot about the whole terrorism bit. I could see a connection there. I've heard of more benign political activities being crashed by the authorities on suspicion of terrorism.

this is a money-market that uses a bank solely as a custodian for treasuries.... the banks have no jurisdiction over the deposits or assets in the account, and it has nearly 100% liquity like any other MMA

Why would you want to incite a bank run? The fed is already destroying the dollar themselves, this will surely cause some sort of bank panic in the future. Why would we want to give them a reason to usher in the Amero sooner?

I would think your energies would be better spent trying to legalize competing currencies, educating the public about the fed and trying to close it. Creating a bank run reinforces the idea in the mass public that institutions like the fed are necessary to keep them "safe".

The Fed would swoop in and 'rescue' the bank and local economy of the surrounding area by pumping more newly printed dollars in.

I have thought about the same thing....but I came to the conclusion that causing a bank run would be terrible. I mean, the economy isn't doing well and it's about to get a lot worse, I don't want to add fuel to the fire.

pphhbbbb.. the general public isn't paying attention at all to articles like this - so why would they pay any attention to you? I've seen half a dozen or more articles like that this Spring and yet I hear people almost daily telling me the economy is picking up - and the shopping mall was jam packed this past weekend with folks out buying junk.
