Coronavirus killing photography business (liberty photographer)

Hello, I'm not sure how many still remember me here, but I was very active in the Ron Paul 2012 campaign and Rand Paul 2016 campaign traveling all around the country to photograph the 2 fighters for liberty on their quest to become president. Unfortunately neither of those efforts panned out, but I've since been working actively as a freelance photographer in Arizona and across the United States. I've been working with Young Americans for Liberty to help photograph their various YALCON events, and also several other libertarian and conservative groups, in addition to some groups that aren't so friendly to liberty but help pay the bills. All told, I've documented Ron Paul at 82 events since 2010, and Rand Paul at 190 events since 2009. You can see those here and here.

Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus, I've had pretty much all of my scheduled Spring photography gigs canceled, and those that haven't been canceled already probably will be soon. I don't enjoy asking for money, and I realize that many have taken a hard financial hit as a result of this outbreak, but if you have the financial stability to support this cause, it would be greatly appreciated at this time. Unfortunately my entire business model relies on middle-sized to large groups gathering for events, and obviously that has become an untenable situation due to the Coronavirus.

Good to see you again Gage!

I still see your name (credit) on various websites and articles to this day and I believe Rand uses one of your images for his twitter icon (i think).

Yep, Rand Paul's twitter profile picture is one of mine. Definitely had a lot of fun getting to photograph the Pauls and see the liberty movement firsthand, was very exciting.

Thanks for confirming it. I knew it was one of yours because of course, i've seen it some place. Small world, isnt it?

Document the insanity..

Should be some Police State shenanigans,, Martial Law, and Talking Heads..

You do nice work.. but this will hit everyone's economy.

You should hit up these guys, they are pretty generous:

Here is what we have so far , Can of soup with no label , 4 beers , coffee , Lima beans , partial pack of hot dogs , a rusty fish hook , couple of lead sinkers , 1/2 lb of govt cheese ,a wig , short skirt , used condoms , absinthe flavored candies , 2 cornbread muffins , 4 cans of tomato soup and a house painting job for 12 an hour .

Thanks guys for those who did donate! I didn't really expect anyone to, but it certainly helps. Thankfully I do have some money saved up, but I was sorta banking on these gigs, so I'll have to cut back my expenses a bit. I appreciate the support.

I remember you and your work (in a good way!).

I'll revisit this later on if I can. I'm sorry to hear what's going on. Unfortunately, this is so bad for everyone. It's like the powers that be said "it's time to hit the reset button and in a BIG way this time!"

Yea unfortunately it's gotten a lot worse for a lot of people even since I made my post. Bartenders, waiters/waitresses, etc. being put out of work with no pay I'm sure.

Washington DC should present plenty of opportunity in a few days.. Convoy coming.

You might be able to hitch.
