I got home from work earlier tonight to watch Ron Paul's speech on TV. I turned it on only to find a channel I'd never seen before that had taken C-SPAN2's place. I called Comcast, was put on hold, then told (by recording) they're experiencing higher than normal calls and waiting times. I hung up. I was pissed (my internet it too slow to watch streaming video). C-SPAN2 is back now, but who friggin' cares? They're replaying the RNC now.

I have Comcast too and it went fine. May be it was a local thing.

LOL @ Comcast, I dropped their ass years ago when a competitor (Knology) set up shop here in Charleston. Knology is a smaller company and I have never had any problems at all.

I'd change to anything but Comcast. I can't though, since I live in a hotel.

OMG, freaky... i told you about comcast>>

comcast is the devil...

Let me get this straight... We've donated millions of dollars for Ron Paul to spend on MSM advertisements, he was the reason many of us paid any attention to their coverage of the election in the first place, we wrote and begged for Ron Paul to be included on talk shows, etc... And what do we get now? Screwed! I repeat: Screwed!

This is why politics doesn't work. Don't vote. Don't pay taxes (until they hold a gun to your head). Look for ways to make yourself more mobile. This country was free because freedom fighters from Europe came here to escape tyranny centuries ago. Now a new generation of freedom fighters will have to move just a little bit further west (i.e. seasteading), and the next generations will have to look to the skies for more freedom. It's a big universe out there!

(I don't want to hijack this thread, so please reply here instead...)

Lucky for you that you HAVE a competitor in your market. Some of us do not.

My locale did not get the memo to replace RP. :D
