called several dealers today....they have no coins left to sell...

in fact, they are offering to buy your silver coins for $4 ABOVE the market rate!!!

I bought up nearly $300 yesterday when it was hovering around $11 an ounce, the only silver I have. I'm just wondering when it's gonna start climbing again.

Expect silver and gold to take a tumble soon. It's totally manipulated. Only once the Fed loses their ability to control the price will it move up. When that happens though, buckle your seat-belts. Silver will hit $60-$80 in 2 years I think.

Hit your bank up for a $100 box nickels

it will be worth double soon. Already a 30 to 40 percent premium on 2008. Probably the last year. No downside risk.

I went all over town yesterday trying to find any silver or gold. Everybody was completely out. I mean, they didn't even have ANYTHING!

I got 4 silvers today for $15 each. They were 1 oz. Canadian Maples and Mexican Pesos.

I don't care that it was $4 above spot because spot is obviously not the market rate since since and demand should have them much higher than what they're at right now. The manipulation of the metals continues.

The best way to get it based on spot is through www.goldmoney.com but I'm just PO'd that they require wire transfers into a holding now instead of just a direct bank transfer like they used to before the feds raided the liberty dollar and e-gold.com.

Oh, I did have to call ALL the coin shops in my county and found one that had some they were willing to sell.

Try www.apmex.com, click on the Top 40 list on the left hand side, and you can find all of the sold out stuff there :P lol...but they do have some 2008 Silver Eagles...I just received a sealed roll of 20 myself from them at a very reasonable price.

Yep...pretty much only the scraps left, and even that will soon be gone.

Can't find gold any where in San Diego county. We're going to get solar panels instead.

Question for some of the more experienced coin buyers here. I was looking on ebay and found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Great-1oz-China...40:1318&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14#ebayphotohosting

Seems too good to be true for $8 for a 1oz .999 silver panda and free shipping. I saw this article regarding counterfeit pandas on ebay and the seller's feedback rating fits this profile.

I considering risking maybe buying one and seeing if I can verify it myself as $8 wouldn't be too bad, what do you guys think? Likely fakes or just too hard to tell? The feedback generated from buy a bunch of $1 items could still just a legit way to avoid the new seller plague but it still raises a flag.

Why oh WHY did I sell all of those silver quarters my grandma gave me when I was teenager to buy a stupid electric guitar?!?!?!?!?!?

Careful, look at his feedback--no seller feedback, all as a buyer. I am thinking scam.

I wouldn't buy any gold on ebay.

Order form APMEX. They are a good dealer with fast service and very cheap shipping and handling. And no, I do not work for them.
