CNN takes Fox on ratings.. Is our War against FOX working?!

Is this rating change in part from us? I wonder I personally use to be a FOX junkie up until the recent biased coverage of Ron Paul. In any case, I almost never turn them on and probably never will again.

I also watched Fox almost exclusively... now I don't ever. Its a lot easier to see the bias when its against your guy, now I don't believe anything that they say so there is no point in watching.

Of course after becoming obsessed with the election and the news on the internet, its really hard to watch the networks anyway, usually I know something for a long time before they report it and I also don't have to sit through the fluff peices about some cat who sleeps with a dog or some cute white teen raped and murdered by a minority... they love those stories. Gretta VanSustren makes me want to hang myself with the TV cord, an hour of nothing that is relevent, just depressing personal tragedy BS.

I'm not sure if I changed or if Fox changed, but I found myself increasingly annoyed and turning the channel. It wasn't so much because of their political bias, but the sensationalism and growing focus on trivial stories when bigger stories weren't being covered.

For me its a combo of both. I think they are more about entertainment that news at this point, and I can't take all the neo-con talking head chickenhawks talking about the war and how great it is when my friends over there are telling me the exact opposite.

Once you become educated, things like "propaganda" in the news especially by the media source themselves becomes obvious and annoying. I think this is what we are all becoming to realize.

I begin to realize how vicious they are when someone doesn't agree. Whatever happened to spirited debate in this country? I use to think CNN is bad but in comparison it seems they at least recognize points from both sides even though they can come across biased at times or ever provide more coverage for the democratic race versus the republican race. Regardless, they don't pounce and blatantly ignore people like FOX has Paul.

I was DISGUSTED with how they did not report his results. I am happy Ron Paul has decided not to interview with them and you can tell he made the right decision by how he is now being treated.

Mark my words, FOX is going DOWN!

I used to watch FoxNews on a regular basis until I woke up a little over a year ago. Afterwards, I would watch them occasionally. After they were so blatantly biased against Ron Paul by not inviting him to that forum in NH, I have not watched them since nor will I. I even de-programmed their channel from my television so it is not even a thought for me to watch them. Instead, I watch my television news coverage on CNN. CNN is not perfect, but they have not been as biased towards Paul as Fox has.

Yes, I think the actions of FauxNews in relation to Ron Paul have hurt their coverage and given a boost to CNN. They will never admit it though. They are so entrenched in neo-conservatism (Socialism) that they would rather have poor ratings than be fair to Ron Paul.
