Rep. Ron Paul of Texas was the lone voice for a rapid U.S. exit from Iraq. "Just come home," he said when asked his Iraq strategy. "We just marched in. We can just come back."
For Paul, Rep. Duncan Hunter of California, Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas, former Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson, Rep. Tom Tancredo of Colorado and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, the 90-minute debate on ABC's "This Week" was an important chance to match up against higher-profile contenders Romney, former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and Sen. John McCain of Arizona.
