Canada imposes 25% tariffs on $155B of American goods

Reckon I could get a good price on clearing my lot? Got some timber, I mean.

When they publish the actual list of goods, can someone please publish it here?

I tried looking it up but Trudeau announced the tariffs without actually having an idea on what exactly.

I'm going to Canada tomorrow, so it will be interesting to see what Canadians think. I'll report back when I return.

I love the somberness of Trudeau's tone.

It's like he's announcing his dog just died

I love it

You might like the "Connect to Canada" website as well. That one has a breakout, by state as well as Congressional District, for the categories and dollar amount of trade from those US states and districts to Canada. Set the "Select a State" pull-down, then look beneath it and to the left for the links to the appropriate data.

Ya in my state 11 billion import , 15 billion export. In my district , and Id expect most of state , vast majority is automotive. Quite frankly avg people in two counties closest to me in my district dont by new cars ( we make em , dont buy em , not even middle class) . Per capita incomes of 21k and 24k. only 11 of 92 counties over 26K
