Can my corporation purchase guns?

I believe so, in fact when purchasing a class 3 item you don't need your sheriffs signature when a corporation owns the item. However if the corporation is dissolved then you must pay the transfer tax again.

Hmmm - touchy issue. I know that in Florida people looking to collect NFA items and suppressors could start a corporation and bypass permission of the local sheriff, but the laws vary state to state.

Each individual has a right to bear arms, thus the corporation has the authority to purchase arms for those individuals.

Unfortunately, corporations also have a huge "get out of jail free card" when they exploit people. What - you are going to lock up some incorporation papers? Everyone that works there?

Think Enron - but white collar crime is a huge problem.

Giving a business the rights of an an individual and more privilege than one, but not the responsibilities and repercussions of one is asking for disaster.

i don't believe corporations should have any immunity an individual doesn't have.. because if an organization/government has more rights than the individual it becomes a power unto itself, making it the master and us- the slaves.

Yeah well my corporations don't have any criminal records or diagnosed mental problems to worry about. Not that I have a history but I like my privacy.
LOL, infact I think it'd be better for the guns to be in my corporations name so FEMA and intraguard will make sure my guns are in tip top shop instead of trying to steal them if SHTF.

Also, it's completely legal to slam out a corporation in any state you feel like. So whichever state has the most preferable gun laws might receive a new Article of Incorporation from me shortly.

I'll call my gun shop tomorrow and try placing an order in the corps name. Let you guys know.
