Second, BJ has sealed up a lot of local support from the GOP, they're doing outreach to traditional allies of Ron Paul types, homeschoolers, gun owners, etc. Also, BJ has money, a good webpage, endorsements, a strong outreach staff, etc.
It makes sense that big time players would be interested in his candidacy. Lawson is part of a fresh new movement in politics, and he's becoming increasing relevant in his challenge of David Price.
