I mentioned this report in the impeachment poll, but I think it deserves it's own thread. Very interesting show. Moyer's guests sound like Ron Paul supporters who haven't realized it yet. They make a very solid case for impeachment.

There was a great quote in the video when John Nichols says, "I think the members of our Congress have no understanding of the Constitution. And as a result they don't understand their critical role in the governance of the country."

I believe he mentioned that an investigation needed to take place first and if wrongdoing occurred it was implied he would support impeachment.

I think Ron Paul is pragmatic and probably understands that these people are whacked out crazy and have their dirty fingers on that little red button... impeachment might be the straw that broke the camels back.

My feeling about this issue is that people should get together and discuss what crimes they believe have taken place, there are no shortage of ideas. Then figure out where and when some crime happened, and look for the little blips of evidence they've dropped as innuendo, inside jokes, etc. Plenty out there. Start lobbying district attorneys, forget congress.

Don't we have international war crimes tribunals somewhere? Support it or not, it is an option. Who has the ability to prosecute treason? Who out there has been effected in a manner worthy of a civil suit? Not just in their "public" lives, but as "private" citizens and c.e.o.s as well.

just my take on it.

oh yeah, and have the state department list the United Arab Emirates as a terrorist state to block their escape (do we have an extradition treaty w/ either UAE or Saudi?)... and take a look at the banks...
