She is a Neocon and has publicly ridiculed Ron Paul. She will kiss your ass for votes but she is a two faced snake.

If she is elected as Chairwoman we will NOT be given a fair convention. Vote for her opponent. I have heard she is at least fair.

Again, spread the word and tell all Ron Paul delegates. Call a fellow meet up member today!

OMG! This is so true! She came and talked to our Republican Club, she droned on and on for nearly 2 hours about how Muslims were on the verge of taking over and women would soon be forced to wear burkas in the US! She told SOOOO many blantant lies about Muslims and terrorists just around every corner, complete fear-mongering war hawk! HOWEVER, it is my understanding that she is just running for SREC Committewoman NOT Convention Chairperson, but whatever she runs for, VOTE AGAINST HER! Who is running against her? And what do we know are can we find out about them? We should have one of our guys running for Convention Chairperson!
 
her rhetoric is 'usually good' on global issues, but she cannot be counted on to support the most conservative candidate historically (usually leaves the impression that she will and then ends up signing the elitist backstab flyer at the convention)

Her candidacy was simply discussed at a meet up group meeting between Cameron and Hildago county Ron Paul meet up groups in Harlingen Texas. So both of our county's Ron Paul delegates will be voting for the other candidate. I was told of her candidacy by John Pankratz and his members (Whom know of both Adams and her rival) that Cathie Adams will be utterly damaging to the Ron Paul supporters because she is a loyal neocon patsy.

If we do not organize Texas delegates against her she WILL make future battles at the Conventions far more difficult for us to influence. Furthermore, it was stated that her challenger is not pro-Ron Paul but simply fair. I would have reported this earlier but I remembered after receiving mail from her campaign. I personally do not have evidence because this information was only given to me. I do not personally know these candidates. But contacting John would be more fruitful. He is also a local organizer of the Republican Liberty Caucus.

Mrs. Adams is not running for convention chair, and will have no effect on the convention. She's running for RNC Committeewoman. Her election or defeat is of no consequence for the state party. She probably is bad for Texas' representation in the RNC, but that has no effect on the Texas convention.

As the committee women she will have a vote at the convention and undue control over the sheep GOP in her area who bow to power.
She needs to be replaced with a pro-liberty woman.

Is there any way to find out who's running for party positions before the convention? I know of one woman who will not get my vote for head bathroom attendant, let alone any other position! She contacted my meetup group and acted as if she was on our side and after all was said and done, we learned she had her own agenda all along! I hoped our situation was isolated, however, it sounds like a few of us have experienced the same type of manipulation. I'll add Ms. Adams' name to my personal list.

Our meetup group has met and talked to Mrs. Adams and we are supporting and campaigning for her. Yes she wants to win the war in Iraq and she thinks we need to protect Israel but she is also:

Anti-Real Id Act
Anti-Illegal Immigration
Anti-NAU
Anti-Amero
Anti-Trans Texas Cooridor
Anti-NAFTA/CAFTA
Anti-RFID Chipping
Anti-HPV Vaccination
Anti-Kyoto Protocol/Cap and Trade
Anti-Codex Elementarius/Pro Health Freedom
Anti-New Texas Business Tax (Can't remember the name right now)
Wants Fair Tax/Eliminate Income Tax
Wants to hold Republicans accountable
Wants votes of Texas Legislature recorded

She is also the head of the Texas Eagle Forum (Phylis Schafley's group) which is pro-freedom.

We have also met with Borah her opponent. If you think Mrs. Adams is a Neo-Con (which I don't think she is, that term gets thrown around here to loosely) then Boral is an ultra Neo-Con.

Borah is for the war just as much or more than Cathy. Here is a quote from Borah = "You cannot support the troops if you don't fund and support their mission"

Borah is a 23 year veteran of armed forces and was a Lt. Colonel. She is a hawk in the John McCain mold. Borah has some similar positions as Cathy, but she is not as strong nor is she as educated on the issues.

When finding people to vote for, whether candidates as the state convention or candidates for office, you are not going to always find candidates that agree with RP 110%. It is not going to happen. So we must find those that are liberty minded. Cathy Adams is the more liberty minded person in this race. Also I have talked to RPHQ Texas about this race and they are not endorsing either candidate because they said they were both fair and qualified. There is not going to be a RP candidate for national commiteewoman. I would strongly suggest that you vote for Cathy Adams.

P.S. There may be something that I am not aware of that may make me change my mind if anyone has any evidence to present, but Borah is not a good option.

Oh I am not asking people to vote against Adams because of her stance on issues. For one as mentioned on your post, they are about identical as the other canidate. Adams is a politician, so I am sure she will lie her ass off us to get votes. It was stated that Adams previously attacked Ron Paul's character. Furthermore, Ron Paul members are not running for such a position this year so we are not really concerned with the issues of the canidates.

I am posting this because of a real possibility that she is unfair in regards to Robert's rules of order.

We need someone that will adhere to rules fairly and not cheat us as the chairs of Nevada convention. This is why we can't vote for Adams. Veteran Ron Paul members have stated that she is a two faced snake.

In two years maybe? I would guess that the ballot choices however is already set for this year.

I am running for National Committeeman at the Texas Convention. I am a County Coordianator for Ron Paul in Travis County.
