No. The longer the race is "muddied"...

1) the less there is a chance that Super Tuesday states will vote as a block.
2) the less money other candidates will have to compete down the road, allowing RP to choose states strategically where he can have a greater presence
3) the better our chances at a brokered convention
4) the more time we have to continue spreading the word and converting the masses

There is an old saying "Democrats fall in love, Republicans fall in line." Every time a Republican wins a state you see a huge spike in the polls for them in the next state, because Republicans just want to pick a winner and consolidate the party. Once the party is consolidated, the presumptive nominee will start getting huge money/media/exposure and RP becomes a footnote. We want this thing to stay a "mess" as long as possible. It really could turn out to be a perfect storm.

Exactly. They all divert votes from each other. If these primaries had been RP and just one of the media darling candidates, RP would have very little chance at the nomination. The more of them in it the better at this point.

RP winning florida would be the best possible thing... but from the way things are going that dosn't look feasible at this point. If Ghouli wins, it would further split the delegates, but a brokered convention (which we might have a shot at winning), on the other hand if Ghouli gets killed and drops out, his votes will probably just be absorbed by the other Neocon frontrunners McCane and Romney (not that they would do too much for them considering Ghouli has been getting much less than RP in most states), though there would be a possibility of media exposure considering that "fringe" candidate Ron Paul outlasted "frontrunner" Giuliani, but we all know how the media's been treating us, so it likely wouldn't materialize. All this being considered, it would be best if Ghouli wins in florida and dosen't drop out.

If you want the delegates to be brokered, which seems what Ron is hoping for, then a Rudy win in Florida is what you want. If Romney wins, it is all over. McCain wins, it is probably all over. Huckabee wins, he gets enough of a boost to keep going. So you see, for us to get what we want, Rudy would need to win Florida. Though a RP win is preferable, it is however unlikely.

To many Ron Paul supporters following the lead of the few Rudy supporters posting on this board. Paul's voice is lost in the chorus of Neocons until that chorus thins.

Besides, Just because Rudy has been talking to people in Florida and is running a lot of comercials does not mean the people of Florida are liking what he is saying.

America had been hearing from Rudy during getting the most air time in debates, and the most media coverage all through the last year and look how they voted for him in IA, MI, NH, NV, WY, SC. What did he average? 4% tops?

America doesn't like Rudy! and FOX news just pretends too because he gave them exclusive rights over Comcast in NYC!!!!!!

Floridians need to push as hard as they can to take votes away from all of them and give them to Paul. That should always be our goal as grassrooters.

While it does reflect well that we're still in the race after so called front runners will start dropping out, it is also crucial to our success that the pro-war vote is split up enough among the other candidates so that the anti-war Ron Paul votes can slip through to make a majority. In other words, it's going to be a lot harder for us to get 51% of the GOP vote against a pro-war candidate than it will be for us to get 25% against four pro-war candidates. Just my 2 cents.

Ron hasn't placed as high as I would have liked in every state, but in terms of winners I couldn't be happier. The more varied the winners, the less chance the sheeple will vote for the one who they think will win(because they don't know) and the more chance they might vote for who they like(such as that one Ron Paul guy maybe?)

I think the sheeple are more likely to wake up if they have one less neocon preaching lies, and more and more of Ron Paul preaching the TRUTH!

i want ron to win, but if no one else, i want rudy to win it. It would play out the best for us. If mccain wins florida were in trouble. the grassroots down in florida really needs to work on hurting mccain. I do think the other guys are gonna tear mccain to shreds this week for us though.

Don't let your hatred of Rudy get in the way of what is best for RP, and what is best for RP is that everybody is in this until after Feb. 5th. We are much better off with everyone between 15-20% instead of someone starting to grab 40-50% and up.
