A long time ago, at a computer made far, far away...
A young programmer registered a domain name
To start a way-cool BitTorrent site!
But the dark, eviiiil forces in this galaxy
Wasted all his creative force working for de man,
And a site never materialized. Time passed.
More time passed... Time just kept passing...
OK, so now I've decided to offload some domain names I'll probably never use (some I've already let expire), and I'd prefer to give them away to whoever can put them to best use. (Best as determined by my subjective judgment.)
This one is pretty neat, BITWALKER.COM, an Internet-age variation on a famous anti-empire resistance leader that's appropriate to use for BitTorrent type stuff. If you've ever wanted to set up a small tracker & community site for all the libertarian / minarchist multimedia content floating around the public domain (including and emphasizing Ron Paul stuff), kinda like CC but smaller and less nutty, and you have the time and skills to maintain it - I'll then definitely donate not just this domain, but also anything else you need to help make it happen. (I'm sure anyone not new to this forum is familiar with my rants about how YouTube shouldn't be trusted, and similar thoughts on decentralization and proliferation of information.)
Please PM me if you're interested. If you have other good ideas for this domain, I'll consider them on case-by-case basis.
