Buy 20,000 and the price is $92.00 for shipping. It caps out at $92. Get people wherever you live together and buy 20,000 or 30,000 or 40,000K of them or however many you'll need between now and your primary. Remember, THIS COUNTS AS A DONATION!

Lol i see you live in NYC, i Can see why you would need 20,000 but I live in the Poconos, PA I dont even think 20,000 people live in my town!. Thanks for the tip though

well it seems like the best deal i can get is about 6,500 slim jims, it maxes out the $92 Shipping.

It counts as a donation. Consider it a donation, not an expense, with free merchandise thrown in with your donation.

Somebody should be able to ship printed material like slimjims at the cheap media mail rate. If you go to usps.com you can figure the rate if you know how much it weighs.

the shipping is not a donation, i have no problem with their retial prices, its just the shipping costs

Even if the shipping is not considered a donation, if the shipping alone is less than the price you would pay to buy and ship the thing from elsewhere, you are still helping the cause by making the merchandise you pay from the official website count as a donation. Unless you are maxed out at $2300. Then maybe you can convince a friend or relative to buy merchandise from the official site as a donation. They need the donations!!!

Doesn't it take weeks to deliver? I had to do this one time for textbooks for this job I had in college, and to the best of my recollection, it took 4 weeks to deliver.

Yeah, from the site it takes only a few days. I was referring to the other poster's idea that they use the cheaper media rate, which would save of shipping, but takes weeks to deliver.

Brainstorming... you could buy an inexpensive yet good quality color printer for the cost of shipping and download (free) the file and print for the cost of ink + paper. If you find a printer with built-in duplexing you wouldn't have to baby-sit the job except for every 50 pages or so depending on load capacity. Another option may be Kinkos? Not sure what they charge per page for color prints, but they can't charge shipping.

I received five USPS media mail shipments during a 2002-2004 period all from another state. The shortest delivery was three days, the longest was 2.5 weeks, the average was maybe 8 days. I've read of 3 week delays but I wouldn't expect more than that unless you live far from a distribution center (most likely just extremely sparsely populated areas...in which case you probably wouldn't need enough slimjims to fully utilize the media mail method anyway).

Back on topic: I'd be interested in purchasing a full media mail shipment's worth of slim jims from someone who makes a massive purchase if it were sold to me at very close to cost. Can someone who isn't going to donate directly or buy other stuff from the store just by 75k of them and split them into lots?
