BY MARK JOHNSON, ON OCT 21, 2009
The Kokesh for Congress campaign is pleased to announce our "National Rifle Raffle."

From now until November 24th, you can purchase a "virtual raffle ticket" by contributing the special amount of $20.10 from our donation page, which will enter you into a drawing for a Remington 770. The winner will be announced on Nov. 24th at 7pm MST during a live webstreamed event. [NOTE: Only donations of $20.10 count as "virtual raffle tickets." If you would like to purchase multiple "virtual raffle tickets," please make separate donations of $20.10, as opposed to one large donation.]

We will also be having an "Out Shoot a Marine" competition at the San Juan Wildlife Federation on November 10th. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the San Juan Wildlife Federation for $25, which includes a free Kokesh for Congress t-shirt. The purchase of a ticket will also enter you into our in-district rifle raffle, the winner for which will be announced during the "Out Shoot a Marine" competition. For more details about the event, click here.

If you wish to be entered into the in-district rifle raffle, but cannot attend the "Out Shoot a Marine" competition, you can buy a raffle ticket at the East Main Trade Center or Western Energy Sales for $5 each any time prior to 5pm MST the day of the event.

If you have any questions about these events, please contact Mark Johnson

:D

off to a volunteer meeting in a few minutes, will answer questions on return

I love the creative fundraising ideas coming out of this campaign.

Me too LLS.

RPH is the campaign going to send out a general email to all contributors and volunteers about this? Also, why not have volunteers sell rafle tickets instead of doing it all online?

Yes this will be in the newsletter for sure, not sure if/when there will be a separate e-mail for this event, (none of us like the idea of overloading our supporters with emails.) We are doing both a local and a national campaign. Two separate raffles. Tickets are already being sold locally. The prize for the local one has been donated by a local shop (whose owner's son is a member here :D), due to legal issues the national prize will be cash value...

RPH, one tricky son of a gun...

Hey there Kokesh fans! This is Mark Johnson, fundraising coordinator for the Kokesh Campaign. I just wanted to let you know that we are having a video challenge and need your help. We are looking for a group of people to create cool videos for the National Rifle Raffle that we can plaster all over the internet. The winner will receive a national rifle raffle ticket and some pretty cool campaign prizes, including one of our new campaign polos. I want to say thank you in advance and remember, "If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right."
