We supporters are stunned after last nights conference call with the baldwin campaign.

People that signed up to volunteer were sent messages to a conference call where the new campaign manager anita andrews spoke.

Chuck came on board and let everyone know he was fully supporting Anita and great things are happening.

We were horrified to hear Anita Andrews say that this campaign will not be associating with ron paul, nor continuing the revolution, but that chuck will be his own candidate, and they will be having a different campaign.

Of course this shocked everyone to death. Since 75% of the supporters for Chuck are ron paul supporters.

It appears that this person Anita has taken over the chuck baldwin campaign and is hostile to spreading ron paul's message.

I sadly would say then if this person Anita Andrews is completely in charge according to chuck then the paul movement has been sold out.

I for one will now support changing policy and helping all efforts and my other colleagues ideas and promotions this election to shake things up instead of volunteering for mr. baldwin.

It is all so sad....:eek::(

eh?

I've had to read that several times, it still doesn't make any sense.

I phoned the Baldwin campaign yesterday with questions about supporting Ron Paul's bills on Internet gaming. I was given Anita Andrews' email address, so I guess I can confirm her placement in the campaign.

And, I've still received no reply to my question on this liberty.

For those who were unaware Anita was one of the top political consultants for the RP campaign about a year ago. In fact she was paid to drive around the country by the official campaign and had 6 hour meetings with every city's Meetup in an attempt to train them.

She was then fired by the campaign (or she resigned - unsure) and the rumor is that it was because she was butting heads with the campaign bigwigs. In other words she would give them critical suggestions and they would ignore it.

She is intelligent, puts out some good information, probably is a good person to have on your team, but she does have a bit of an attitude that many in the RP group didn't care for.

Oh and she's kind of a MILF :D

This is a complete over reaction.

Chuck had laringitis and could not talk long. Anita Andrews talked about positions that need to be filled and that there is some big happenings brewing. Right now they are taking time to build the foundation of Chucks campaign. They want everything to be in place first so that they are not running around like chickens with their heads cut off later. Its called a plan. I left the phone call very encouraged.

Anita seemed very knowledgeable and very professional. I am glad we have someone like her working for Chucks campaign. Its a huge plus.

Chuck is his own candidate. He is not a clone of Ron Paul. He supports Ron and the freedom message. Everybody is aware of how hard he worked for Ron. Chucks message has not changed one bit, but he has to make his own case for the freedom message otherwise when he is interviewed all he would say to any question is "refer to Ron Paul's position."

Take a deep breath will ya. Its all good.

I don't think what she said was offensive at all! Baldwin isn't Paul, and she is using a different strategy! You guys are going to have fun. Give her a chance, and your support. If you are going to question every word she says, Baldwin doesn't stand a chance.

I don't like it that she doesn't want Baldwin associated with Ron Paul. Not one bit. However, seeing how poorly Paul's campaign was run, maybe she would have helped in that. So maybe she can help Baldwin. We'll see. I'm not sure what to make of this.

I met her once. She seemed really pissed at the Ron Paul campaign.

She might be smart marketing wise, but she has a possible attitude problem which some would consider unprofessional.

So most controversy she gets involved in, she brings it on herself by her demeaner and actions.

The larger point is this, if Chucks candidacy can't stand on its own then being associated with Ron Paul won't help him.

He needs to make his own case, and I have no doubt that he will.

Its all good.

If they were smart, the first people and most likely people to support Baldwin would be Ron Paul supporters. So for her to openly dismiss Ron Paul supporters isn't very smart politics.

What is she and the campaign going to do, target Hillary Clinton Supporters instead?

She did not dismiss RP supporters. She answered the man who asked a question about reaching out to RP supporters by saying to tell them that we love Ron, Chucks a very good friend of Ron and we support his message but they are not officially connecting Chucks campaign to Ron Paul .

I don't see what all the fuss is about, Ron Paul is not going to officially endorse Chuck even though Chuck officially endorsed him, and we are all understanding of that. Chuck understands that as well.

Everything I heard on that conference call was positive news and is going to pay dividends for the Baldwin campaign. This is going to be a very professionally run, effective campaign.

Ah. That makes more sense. The original post gives the wrong impression.

so she was let go?

sounds like she has a long history of pushing too hard against people rather than working with people.

I see from your comments and previous posts from people in the past in the movement.

I always defend Bob Barr, and now I see that I must defend Chuck Baldwin too. GEEZ! HELLO! Just as Ron Paul vouches for Bob Barr, Ron Paul vouches for Chuck Baldwin. And HELLO! Of course Chuck Baldwin are not the same person. They aren't clones. This isn't Star Wars. Campaigns are like snowflakes: no two are exactly alike.

I have pointed out the biblical nature of the Constitutional Party, but Chuck Baldwin is pretty good. I have not ruled him out, even though I prefer Bob Barr. All this hysteria about Chuck Baldwin not continuing Ron Paul's campaign is mere poppycock. Common sense should make you realize that of course this is the end result.

Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin are friends, and it just is not believable that Baldwin would slime Paul in anyway, or run his campaign in a manner that is hostile toward Ron Paul. I do expect an independent campaign, and this is a good thing.
