Hi All,
Well the first quarter finacial reports are all in. My campaign is definitely in a dismal distant third place in terms of fundraising.
Keith Fitzgerald the incumbent raised over $30000 this quarter, and now has almost $70000 in his campaign treasury.
Laura Benson, my primary competitor has raised over $15000 this quarter, and now has $22000 in her war chest.
I raised $1500. A few more checks have come in in the last few days, but I still have less than 10% of what Benson has raised.
The Sarasota REC is no doubt chuckling right about now. I am going to continue forging ahead, no matter how quixotic my quest is beginning to appear. But I'd still really love your support.
