No, this has absolutely nothing to do with the DNC, but after tonight I really don't know what to think anymore. Anyways, I was out with a few friends and naturally the conversations they had deteriorated very quickly into complete trainwrecks of poorly put together dialouge. At that moment I think I began to understand the thought process of the NWO. The people, that is ~98% of them, don't really care about their freedoms, families(present and future), or the sacrifices of the brave patriots that most of the members on this board revere...all they care about is themselves. And to be perfectly honest, as long as they could get drunk and have sex I don't feel most of them would care if any of their freedoms remained. It's hard sometimes to fight the fight we do. In some ways it's easier to just say to ourselves 'they deserve it'...'let them die'. But then I get to thinking and realize that's not the answer to our problems because before these mindless idiots DO get what they deserve they're gonna be used to get rid of us. Whether or not we want to admit it we need them, however stupid they may be.

To me, the biggest shock is how we can have people like David Rockefeller just calmly say we want to kill you, scum. And read his memoirs...he does refer to us as 'scum'. Yet, nobody cares. All they want to do is watch sports(and this is comings from a guy who LOVES football and basketball), drink beer, smoke some weed, and get layed. That's it. The UN Assessment for Global Biodiversity recommended eliminating 80% of the world's population, the Georgia Guidestones proclaim that the world population must never excede 500million, and we've got nuts like Pianka saying how great a global pandemic would be. Even if he doesn't have much power of government operations imagine what would happen if one of his students got into USAMRIID, injected himself with a modified Ebola virus and went on a worldwide killing spree...one flight after another. The point is, how can people be so brainless when faced with such evil. Sorry for the rant. I'm just frustrated. Comments?

Well Pilgrim, you think it's time for another voyage to escape an overbearing government??

Almost seems like it could end up being our only choice. :(

we are all one, even the ones who do "evil"

Ahh thanks for the collectivist sentiments  ?

We're all individuals...

“The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil; but because of the people who don't do anything about it.”~ Albert Einstein

“There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance”
~ Socrates

“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.”~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Apathy is the glove into which evil slips its hand”~ Bodie Thoene

The otherside of the arguement that doesn't get much play is "never underestimate the power of human ingeniutiy." As long as the human population seeks knowledge and is able to quench the thirst of that knowledge unhindered, there will be things and ideas unimagined yet.

I personally am becoming more and more radical in my hatred for the government (that is, government in general), so I'm finding it harder and harder to abide people that tolerate coercion, or promote it if it's for something they think is right.

I've just moved in with a pretty liberal friend. This is his first time living in his own apartment in NYC, and he was briefed today on the recycling procedures and the penalty if you don't throw your trash out properly. It was embarrassing to see him reconcile his political belief that people should be forced to recycle "to save the planet," with all the extra work that he'll have to do to avoid being fined hundreds of dollars for a single violation. It will be entertaining to see him swallow his own medicine, and if my other roommate and I weren't such nice guys (both of us Ron Paul supporters), I think we'd force him to do all the recycling in the apartment.

And that I think is the only high light of the greatly expanding state. I think most people are realizing that the government is going too far. I've had Obama people, without any preaching from me, questioning the Federal Reserve and banking system, the debt, their taxes, etc. I don't know if I can convince them that the entire system is hopeless, but if I can get them to agree that we at least need to start rolling back government, I'd be content.

Hahah.. man oh man :D I used to be a kinda of chomskyite / democrat. 7 months ago.. I saw RP... first time, I was sold... "WTF, he actually said that?" - saying exactly the same things I thought (i.e foreign policy), that no politician would have. I then woke up the rest of stuff, opened my eyes to a whole new world I didn't know existed. I literally thought I was alone in the world... everyone was crazy, and I was the only sane person left.

I was wrong... Found you guys :D Anyway.. my hatred for the state is SO intense.. I can't read the paper in the morning without talking outloud, cussing at the politicians / idiots / calls for more government. Same with the news.. ignorance is probably my biggest hate. Because you can't love the state, unless you're ignorant of what it is, coercion, violence, theft.

:D That's cool, you and your room mate being Ron Paul supporters. May I suggest you two, watch movies together... I recon you could wake up your fellow room mate over several viewings... Like don't make it obvious that you're trying to wake him up, but put on and watch They Live or 1984, or Fahrenheit 451, or Brazil... somtime :p

I'm sure I said something to the effect of, "as libertarians, we seek to subdue the power of the political establishment as well as the common people" in another thread. At least, that's my take on it, and what I assume is the underlying message of those who adhere to "democracy is not freedom". We are a loud, intelligent minority.

I'm sorry, but if you truly believe that we have the option of waking people up...you're missing the point.

I know what you guys mean about hatred of the state, and...talking to people who accept coercion. Time to lead by example?

I agree with both of you. It's just that sometimes I feel so alone.

Brother you are not alone.

I feel mankind has "evolved" to something of an existstence where we go to work/school, eat, click a remote, sleep, and repeat....I'm tierd of swimming in a sea of stupidity. A great David Bowie quote "There's no sign of life, it's just the power to talk". I have seriously considered New Zealand as an option. At least I know up front I'm a servant of the crown.

So many people have been saying New Zealand, even last year...I'm not sure.

Switzerland would be pretty badass, if you can afford the lifestyle there.

One of the freest countries in the world in terms of guns.

You care, so what makes you different than them? The key is to find out what changed you it is the only way to convert the others. Why are we so different than the rest... There is a code to break the system I just don't know what it is. My fear is it will already be to late to wake up the masses from this deep slumber.

Nice thread. I feel you guys 100%. Im starting to understand that there is no "key" to changing people. The "key" that got me involved was simply a thirst for knowledge and the free time to pursue it. Most Americans don't have either the thirst or the time and many have neither. Critical thinking is not an American virtue any more.

It's like there's this common idea that everyone decides on something simultaneously and society evolves. It makes for a nice story, but the reality is a few people try something, and if it works really well, eventually others copy it. That's how this country was founded, and that's what I mean when I suggest leading by example.

To be honest I don't know what makes them different. Simply put they're just...stupid.
