Almost meeting fundraising goal for this week

The Liberty Lady is at nearly $250k for this week. So we've nearly met the goal for this first week in October. If we do this every week, or more, we'll hit the $1 million for October. Yay!

We need 4 million for October...thats alright though we're just in a little hang over from last weeks push, plus as we recruit more people throughout the quarter fund raising should accelerate. It will be fun to watch now that we have real time updates!

Don't worry, it will pick up on payday (the 15th) and I expect it will be very active the last few days of the month.

As others pointed out, our weekly goal is $1,000,000, not $250,000. I calculated it out earlier, and we need roughly $140,000/day on average through the end of the month to meet the goal. So far our average has been about $50,000/day. So, the pace will have to improve quite a bit in order to meet the goal. I think we'll do it or at least come close.

I wish the campaign would send out an email about the fundraising goal. I wonder how many even know about this?

Everytime they send out a plea for money, the fundraising skyrockets. I hope they do this sooner, rather than later.

Wow, can everyone collectively say "Doh!" I had a brain fart...it's $4 million, and somewhere deep in my skull that bit of information was lodged.

I think a lot of people strectched themselves fully out for the end of Quarter. It will take some time to get moving back the way we were. We might even miss the October goal but I am confident we will exceed the 12 million goal.

We need to all kick it up a notch. Pass out some literature. I always keeps some on my car just in case I see a car with an anti-bush or anti-war, etc bumper sticker.
