A Hillary win is a Paul victory

I'd never really put much hope into Paul winning the GOP ticket. His fundraising and the recent (relative) increase in mainstream media attention kind of got my hopes up, but all this time, I've just been hoping for a Hillary victory on the Democratic side, because that would make for a lot of disappointed Democratic voters who might be swayed to vote third party in the general election.

I'm disappointed at Paul polling so low in New Hampshire (who would've thought he would do better in Iowa than in NH?), but I'm very happy to see Hillary winning vs Obama in NH.

That will only work out if Paul runs as an independent and Dennis jumps on board. I'm just worried he's too stubburn, but maybe he really is "Crazy like a Fox like that".

If not, we'll just have Hillary vs. ___?____ which means we get fascism either way! At least Obama is better than her.

The "I have no intention of running third party" line is obvious political speak for "I'm keeping my options open". I also think he's recently suggested that if his supporters fund the third party/independent race, he would run.

Obama may be a better person, but no one poses a greater risk to Liberty then Obama. He's a classic collectivist and will run the economy from recession to depression if he prints money to fund his healthcare ideas.

If Clinton's elected, I can't imagine much would happen. She'd sit on her ass for 4 years, maybe find enough free time to fondle an intern and go home.

Screw Obama the Stepford Candidate. If it's not President Paul, I hopes it's President Hillary in 2009. The GOP needs to be pounded straight into the ground for abandoning its principles. If they don't nominate Ron Paul, they deserve to lose every state and end up with less than 1/3rd in both houses of Congress.

Hillary, anyway, is a known quantity, and probably cares too much about her legacy to REALLY screw things up. Meanwhile, we can just keep pushing the Ron Paul message.

I hate to say it, but I'm sooooo mad at the GOP right now that I might have to agree, they deserve to lose, even to Hildabeast, come election time.

On the other hand, if she is the next president, we're all screwed. :(

On the other hand, if anyone other than Ron Paul wins, we're all screwed, right?

No need to get all worked up. The night aint over yet, nor are the primaries. The major factor to consider the mass media's push to get independents to vote for Obama then have Hillary come in for the kill. This was planned from the get go... Other than that Paul is doing exceptionally well. No need to get discouraged. Ghoulini is going down, and will eventually hurt dramatically in states like Florida, Texas, and California. No worries there is still plenty of fight ahead of us. :)

I don't know. Getting less than 10% in New Hampshire will put a real halt to the momentum we've been building. It'll hurt donations and it'll hurt in trying to convince people Paul has a shot. I realize it's due to McCain getting so many independent votes (though I really thought Paul would steal a lot of them to give Romney first), but I think that with Thompson being out, Giuliani doing poorly, and Romney not scoring first in Iowa or NH, McCain may actually come out of this whole thing as the winner.
