A Great Idea from an Austin Meetup Member

If you get a lot of dogwalkers/joggers passing your house, put a Ron Paul sign at the edge of your yard and staple a zip-lock bag of Ron Paul literature to the bottom of it!

:) (Thanks Taylor, for sharing!)

Great idea if you dont have a home owners asssssssssociation.
They will let vendors trash your property to sell you stuff but God forbid you put literature in you own front yard:mad:

I have that big Ron Paul sign that covers the entire rear window of my SUV and I don't park it in my garage. My HOA can't say anything about that. Maybe I'll try putting some slim jims out there with a 'Take One' sign on the truck as well. It seems they whine when I put a sign in my yard, but if it's on my vehicle, they don't say anything. You might be able to use the same trick.

you can also pick up the little boxes they put in front of sale homes to show the homes features at most real estate offices.. you might have to pay a few dollars for one

Good points & good ideas! I'm thinking now I may try mounting some kind of wooden box on the outside of my back privacy fence (backs up to a thoroughfare). I have an HOA, but they don't do much enforcing as far as I can tell.

IMHO they are lazy and complacent. They collect dues and do as little as possible. However, if you have a supporter of another candidate on your block, and they call in a couple of times a day to complain, then they might start writing letters just to get your neighbor to shut up.
